Child Safety Standards
Last updated: September 15, 2026
Prohibited content and conduct
Users may not create, upload, share, request, promote, distribute, solicit, or facilitate content or conduct involving the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors. This includes CSAM, grooming, sexual extortion, trafficking, or attempts to obtain sexual content involving minors.
Reporting inside Mama Nest
Mama Nest provides in-app tools that allow users to report users and user-generated content, including posts, stories, comments, and messages, when they believe content or conduct violates our safety standards.
Our response
When Mama Nest identifies content or conduct that violates these standards, we may take actions including:
- Removing prohibited content.
- Restricting, suspending, or permanently terminating accounts.
- Preserving relevant information when required for safety or legal compliance.
- Taking additional measures necessary to protect users and the community.
Evidence preservation and legal requests
When a safety report or valid legal preservation request requires it, Mama Nest may preserve relevant messages, account records, report details, and related evidence in a restricted archive. Preserved evidence is separated from ordinary user access, protected from user deletion, and retained only for the period required for the safety investigation or applicable legal process.
Reporting to authorities
Mama Nest complies with applicable child-safety laws. When facts or circumstances trigger an applicable reporting obligation, apparent CSAM or child sexual exploitation is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the appropriate regional or national authorities as required by law. Material associated with a CyberTipline report is preserved for the legally required period and access is restricted to personnel who need it for safety or legal compliance.
Cooperation and prevention
Mama Nest cooperates with valid legal requests from appropriate authorities and maintains moderation, reporting, and account-enforcement processes intended to prevent, detect, and respond to child sexual exploitation on the service.
